Course Overview
|
Participants are allocated a STEM challenge following submission of preferences in advance of this 5 day - 4 night course. During the Summer School teams work on their investigations, then present their findings to an audience at the closing plenary presentations - to which families and teachers are invited. Subjects areas covered include Biology, Chemistry , Physics , Maths , Engineering ad Life Science.
This course is for Aimhigher students and is fully funded by HEFCE.

Course Aims
|
This 5-day, 4-night residential course is aimed at providing an exciting and practical experience of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, as well as life changing and wealth creating opportunities which arise through participation in STEM learning in Higher Education prior to entry to full-time employment. |

For Year 11 *Aimhigher students with an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects.
